OUR STORY

Swiss Dream Escapes is more than just a travel company. It is a deeply personal journey rooted in love for exploration. Clara’s passion for travel and hospitality was inspired by her grandmother who founded an inbound travel agency in South Africa in 1965. The art of crafting personalised journeys has been part of Clara’s family history, inspiring her passion for creating unforgettable memories from an early age. Determined to carry on this legacy, Clara earned a degree in International Hospitality Management in Germany and honed her expertise in London.

Switzerland has always held a special place in Clara’s heart, not only because of cherished family vacations but also due to the strong connections she formed with the country’s rich culture and welcoming people. After working in prestigious Swiss hotels like Carlton Hotel St. Moritz and Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, Clara traveled extensively throughout Switzerland, inspiring her to found Swiss Dream Escapes. Her mission: To share the diverse and breathtaking wonders of Switzerland to discerning travellers.

Guided by the credo “From travellers, for travellers“ Clara brings a legacy of warmth, expertise and attention to detail to Swiss Dream Escapes, designing truly unique journeys in the heart of Switzerland.

My adventures in Switzerland and expertise in luxury travel have inspired me to create Swiss Dream Escapes – A Destination Management Company dedicated to designing unparalleled journeys.

Switzerland is a blend of cultures and languages and I truly enjoy embracing it by speaking English, German and French on a daily basis. I am happy to call Zurich home, where I live with my wonderful partner.”

Even as a teenager, while most of my school peers looked forward to carefree summer breaks, I preferred to spend my time interning in five-star hotels, enthusiastically eager to learn practical hospitality skills, immersing myself in the world that always felt like my true calling.

Determined to carry this tradition forward, I pursued a degree in International Hospitality Management in Germany and refined my expertise in London.
Switzerland has always held a special place in my heart from cherished family vacations to the meaningful connections I formed with its rich culture and welcoming people. My career led me to prestigious Swiss hotels such as the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz and the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace and extensive travels across the country deepened my admiration for its diversity and beauty. These experiences ultimately inspired me to create Swiss Dream Escapes, a Destination Management Company from travellers for travellers.
With over a decade in the hospitality industry and personal adventures across more than 30 countries, I bring a deep passion for crafting extraordinary itineraries and building genuine relationships.
A country of many cultures and languages, Switzerland is a place I truly embrace – speaking English, German and French daily. Today, I am grateful to call Zurich home, where I live with my wonderful husband and continue to share the magic of Switzerland with guests from around the world.

I have dedicated my career to the art of creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences. Born in the historic city of Odessa, Ukraine, I grew up between the UK, Germany and Switzerland before pursuing my studies in Montreux, where I earned a double bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School and the University of Derby. This journey shaped my global mindset and instilled in me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the essence of refined Swiss service.

Fluent in five languages – German, French, English, Russian and Ukrainian – I effortlessly bridge cultures and communicate with clients in the way that makes them feel most at home. My professional path includes leading roles with some of the finest names in luxury hospitality, including Kempinski Hotels, St. Moritz Tourism and Clinique La Prairie Switzerland, where I served as Head of Sales. I later moved to Zurich to further refine my expertise at a boutique Swiss private bank, managing relationships with UHNWI clients from around the world.

I possess a deep understanding of the lifestyle, expectations and unspoken desires of the world’s most discerning travellers. Today, I bring this knowledge to Swiss Dream Escapes, where I lead business development and channel my passion into curating exceptional and deeply personalized experiences

I was born and raised in Switzerland and from a young age, I was drawn to hospitality and the pursuit of Swiss excellence. I spent many cherished summers in Provence, France, at my family-owned guesthouse, where my mother and I lived the essence of hospitality – creating an atmosphere where guests felt not just welcomed, but truly cared for.
This passion led me to the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), where I embraced the savoir-être and savoir-vivre at the heart of Swiss hospitality, while my fluency in German, French, English, Italian and Spanish has enabled me to bridge cultures and foster genuine understanding.
My journey has taken me around the world, refining my know-how in luxury travel at renowned institutions such as the Ritz-Carlton Dubai JBR, the Dolder Grand in Zurich and the Tschuggen Collection in Switzerland – experiences that shaped my appreciation for authenticity and the art of meaningful service.
